Humboldt County’s Zoning Administrator agenda for Sept. 17 places a two-year extension for Caltrans’ Savage Creek Water Diversion System Improvements Project on the consent calendar.
According to the agenda, staff recommends approving the extension for the Trinidad-area project and finding it consistent with the Trinidad Area Plan and exempt from further CEQA review.
The project is tied to a Caltrans water diversion that serves the Trinidad Southbound Safety Roadside Rest Area and Seawood Estates Mutual Water Company. The agenda materials also describe work at Savage Creek and Seawood Drive that would replace a sump well and water lines in kind and add a backwash system.
The available record does not show whether the item was pulled for discussion or the final vote at the meeting.
